HRSA Health Equity Fellowship Program

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is focused on addressing health disparities, improving health outcomes, and achieving health equity.

In support of the President’s Executive Order on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government and Departmental health equity priorities, HRSA is offering the Health Equity Fellowship Program for its second year. This cohort is HRSA’s next generation of leaders who will work on addressing health disparities and achieving health equity.

Participants will:

  • Lead or partner with HRSA leaders on projects with a health equity focus.
  • Gain insight into the mission and priorities of HRSA Bureaus and Offices.
  • Connect with leaders across HRSA to learn more about HRSA’s mission to achieve health equity.
  • Take part in development and training opportunities, as a cohort and in small group sessions with senior leaders and staff, as well as individually with a mentor.

An informational session about HRSA, the HRSA Health Equity Fellowship Program, and other opportunities is scheduled for Wednesday, June 7, Noon – 1 p.m. Interested candidates can join the meeting.

The Fellowship Program job announcement opens on May 30, 2023. Potential applicants can apply via USAJobs.gov until June 12, 2023. For further questions, please contact AskHR@hrsa.gov.
